Diavaz DEP, which spun-out from Grupo Diavaz in 2012, is an oil & gas services and operating company with three integrated divisions: (i) E&P: operator of four oilfields; (ii) Services: provides diverse exploration & production services such as drilling, well stimulation, gas injection, construction, and engineering; (iii) Maintenance: provider of maintenance and repair services to oil and gas installations.
Why we invested
Diavaz DEP was led by a highly experienced management team and strong equity owners with a long and successful track record in the industry. Diavaz had recurring revenue and high entry barriers with an opportunity to reduce costs. Additionally, the growth potential was driven by the opening for private investment of the oil sector in Mexico.
